About Course

Purpose, Mental Wellness & Recovery is a practical, self-paced course designed to help adults understand the relationship between purpose, emotional wellbeing, resilience, and recovery.

Life transitions, prolonged stress, setbacks, loss, and uncertainty can disrupt a person’s sense of identity and direction. This course provides a structured process for recognizing those effects, strengthening personal awareness, identifying supportive practices, and developing a realistic plan for moving forward.

Through guided lessons, reflective exercises, knowledge checks, and an accompanying learner workbook, participants will examine how purpose can support mental wellness without ignoring the realities of adversity or recovery.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

• Explain the connection between purpose, mental wellness, resilience, and recovery
• Recognize common barriers that affect identity, motivation, and forward movement
• Identify personal strengths, values, supports, and healthy coping practices
• Apply practical strategies for navigating stress, setbacks, and life transitions
• Establish meaningful and achievable next steps
• Complete a Personal Wellness and Purpose Action Plan

This course is appropriate for adults seeking personal development, people navigating life transitions or recovery, peer-support professionals, community leaders, ministry leaders, coaches, and helping professionals.

This course is educational and does not replace medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis intervention, or treatment from a licensed healthcare professional.
